• The face of the world changes almost every day, if we had an opportunity to look on Earth from the space hundred years ago, and compare it to the today’s image the astronauts can observe from the orbit, we would see two quite different globes. Especially, the difference would be seen at night; the millions of little lights like small fireflies lighten our planet when the night falls. The accumulation of those small fireflies represents the big cities that are lavishly filled with the sky-scrapers and other buildings brighten by millions of lights at night. The face of Earth becomes brighter; it changes with the help of the architect designers that gathered to find out who was the best at the 2011 Rudy Bruner Award.

You could order essays or purchase essay papers describing how the tendencies in the world of modern urban design have changed with the course of time, but I think, it would have been better to observe the projects of the famous designers that were represented at this exhibition. The 2011 Rudy Bruner Award has chosen the winner that had to reflect the most important theme that was in issue. This year, the golden winner was the Bridge Homeless Assistance Center . It showed the great example of the mixture of the modern design and the need for the important public spaces. The building of the Bridge Homeless Assistance Center seemed to be full of light; it was almost transparent and shone from inside .
